Good Morning Friends! This Sunday, we have the opportunity to hear from church planter Craig Noyes as he shares about bringing the Gospel to people in Papua New Guinea. He is planning to leave the U.S. in late August or early September and will be on the field for the next 3.5 - 4 years. Lord willing, inn January of 2020, his ministry partners Josh Miller and Autumn Miller will also leave to join him in PNG. Craig will be sharing in both Sunday school and for the main service. Sunday school begins @9:30AM in the auditorium and the main service begins at 10:30AM, also in the auditorium. We look forward to seeing you this upcoming Lord's Day! - Jonathan
The Chapel elders are planning to hold a forum this upcoming Sunday in lieu of a regular sermon. You'll get 4 "sermonettes" - one from each elder - covering some topics that we believe are critical for our church and believers living the present age. The title of our forum is "Affirming Together Biblical Priorities in 2019." Our purpose is to call our attention back to obeying the commands found in Scripture for the church and helping each other think through the challenges presented to us in our culture. Our service will begin at 10:30am; all who attend are invited to join us for our annual summer picnic afterwards, beginning at 12:30pm. God bless - be praying for one another!

While many who grow up in church are familiar with the story of the golden calf, I can't help but be amazed by the theological truths about God which are presented in these chapters. Good morning saints! On Sunday, I'll be continuing the series on how Israel's history provides a foundation for understanding the NT and the church age. While we believe that national Israel and the church are two separate entities in God's administration of human affairs, we recognize that many foundational truths and concepts are (were) revealed in the nation of Israel and through the writings in the Pentateuch. This week, I'll be examining some big-picture issues in the Exodus narrative concerning God's relationship to Israel, the purpose of miracles, and God's use of Pharaoh to accomplish some specific objectives in His plan for Israel (and the surrounding nations). I would encourage you to read the Scriptures we'll be studying beforehand, since we won't have time to read them all during the service. The main passages are Exodus 4 - Exodus 9. Hi Friends! Our brothers who went to the Shepherds' Conference at Grace Community Church in LA aren't going to make it back in time for church tomorrow. I was aware of this possibility and I have a tentative lesson planned for Sunday school tomorrow. HOWEVER....
